My question is this: Would triggers eat live snails or other tank cleaning organisms (i know they eat coral, inverts etc, i have observed them in the wild at length), but i don't know if they would eat-for example-turbo snails. Anybody know about this? Thanks for the help

Since they eat crabs inverts and corals, im sure they would eat snails. I probaly wouldnt mix the two but you wont know for sure unless you try it out.

I agree with gabe. Especially with Picasso's who are very curious. Or worse yet, Undulated triggers who will eat ANYTHING that moves! If you got a mellow trigger he may not bother though, so I guess the true answer is it depends on both the species and your individual fish's personality.

ABSOLUTELY THEY DO!!! Our Picasso has gone after more than a few turbo snails that I took out of the reef tank in the hopes they were "big" enough to handle their own in our 180 FOWLR. WRONG!! (Of course our puffer had some, too) Triggers eat anything!
