Triggers

I have been confused. I want to get a tank with triggers in it including a clown trigger. Of all the people I asked, they have said that triggers are hard to raise and extremely aggressive. I really want some triggers in my tank so I think I will just have to make a trigger and shark only tank. For this plan I would like to know the requirements as far as that goes. I would also appreciate some vlauable info on triggers too. :help: :help: :notsure: :notsure:
Thanks

i believe triggers and sharks are a NO. Triggers will eat out the sharks eye. Correct me if i am wrong. i have a piccaso and a niger in the same tank right now. 150 gallons. the niger seems way less aggresive. is scared to death of me evertime i come close to the tank. the piccaso is always out swimming begging for more food. he will eat out my hand. Cool fish thow i love them.

I appreciate your info. I will maybe just get a Triggers only tank. I think that would be ok. Here is a roughdraft list for a 210 tank
-1 Picasso trigger
-1 Clown trigger
-2 Stary triggers
-2 Blue Line triggers
-1 Hawiian Black trigger
-1 Queen trigger
-1 Asassi trigger
PLEASE REVIEW (PLEASE NOTE 210 GALLON TANK)
Thanks

yeah i agree i had a shark and sting ray tank , and i have switch to triggers they will defently kill your shark i just sold all my sharks and sting rays very sheap just to start over with triggers, i like your list but i think 2 of any of the same trigger is to much they will fight eachother for example 2 bluelines is a no no , i have a clown, hawaii blue/black, undukated most aggresive trigger alive, a blueline, a blue jaw and a stars and strips puffer, and i have a huma huma, picking up a redtooth niger sunday along with a queen. theres onemore i hvae but not sure what its called it looks like a blue jaw but its not. good luck with you tank

just do lots of research and find triggers that will be compatible every trigger that sharkboy said are not good specimens for a tank with fish

All triggers are different. They will defiantly not go with sharks and rays though.I would say to view each trigger personally to see there temperament.I would not put 2 of the same kind of trigger in a tank as they will almost likely fight with each other. As for putting multipal triggers together, well thats a chance that you will half to decide to take yourself. There are many people that put alot of triggers together and have no problem and then there are alot of people that can't keep one without it killing everything. Me personally, i have 6 triggers together in my tank and they all get along fine. I just put the most aggressive ones in last. And i also feed heavy to kurb future aggression. And i have alot of live rock with alot of hiding spaces and getaways in there.

does anyone here have a crosshatch trigger? I love their coloration and would love to get a pair for my new 210 fowlr. are they as hardy as other triggers? Ive only seen them once in an lfs and they were charging $700 for the pair
