Well I headed to my LFS today and saw some stuff I just had to have...always seems to happen when I check them out.
Apparently these were labeld "Bam Bam Zoathid". I dunno I just loved how vibrant they were.

Red open brain coral:

And an unknown (came outta the frag tank):

Can anyone help ID it?
Just thought I would share a little bit. Thanks for the ID help as well

The unidentified was actually bought, but came on a nice chunk of LR for $10 (the LR is easily 2-3lbs)
The Bams I got the colony for ~$50. I dunno I thought they were just to neat to pass up.

Can you tell us if the unknown coral has multiple mouths or not? If it has one, theres a slight chance it could be an anemone, but Im willing to bet a ricordea of some kind.
And that brain looks like it will recover. I would do that at my LFS, but the selection of dying corals (sounds so weird saying that) is a little bit too dying. I love rescuing coral

Here is another angle of the coral. I am a a bit of a loss for good angles given the location of it in the aquarium. Hopefully this helps...but I doubt it..lol

I can't really seem to see a mouth...yet. I remember the guy calling it a fuzzy or something...but that was it. Perhaps a fuzzy
'shroom?

Yeah, it's starting to look more like a fuzzy shroom than a ricordia to me.

Any really good suggestions on reviving the brain? I was thinking keep the calcium lvls up, and try to spot feed. I know the red are a little more light sensitive, should I maybe move him over to a more shaded area? I don't really want to loose it.
