truck rims..

i have let my rims kind of go for the last couple of weeks with out cleaning them, i tried cleaning them today.
can any one advise a cleaner that works really well, and can get out little rust spots ???
also it looks like the crome is peeling ..
any info would be helpful..
thanks///

You can use a very fine steel wool to get the rust spots out but if they are peeling you may be better off getting new ones..... unless you want to get them rechromed. Some wheel companies will warranty them depending on how long you have had them and what company they are.... Or you could call me and order some new ones ;-)

CLR (Calcium Lime Rust)
It won't get rid of straight rust, but it will take out the rust stains easily.

If you can, toss up a pic or two. If the chrome is actually peeling, there's little that can be done to reverse it. Best recommendation would be to hit them up with that CLR, wash throughly, and grab a Mother's Power ball and a chrome polish and work them back shiny. There's not really any shortcuts other then lots of elbow grease.

okay i get up some pics. iam not looking for short cuts, ill probably even take the wheel off my truck and work on it...
thanks
