true and false clown compatibility?

Simple question....can they be mixed?
I hear all sorts of different opinions about about keeping only one species of clown in a tank. Yet the simple fact is that these two look VERY similar. I have a false but IMHO I think the true is a little prettier so i would like to add a larger true perc.
Should I forget about it, or will they get along?....or perhaps since they are so similar pair up or even mate?

I had two perks that came from a mixed true false tank and i'm pretty sure one was true and one was false (based on coloring). They got along fine.

I HAVE A MAROON CLOWN AND A TRUE PUCULA THEY LIVE IN THE SAME TANK AND THEY DO GREAT MY FRIEND HAS A TANK RIASED FALSE PUCULA AND A TRUE AND THEY LIVE TOGETHER GOOD
