True or False Percula

Got my clown fish about a week ago. with all of the black it has I wanna say its a true percula, but I only paid 9 bucks for it here in Japan, so that makes me believe its a false, what do you guys think?

True Perc. The false percs, or Occelaris do not have as pronounced of a black bar between the orange and white.

i know occelaris dont have that much black in between stripes... but i also know percs dont have that black outline on the fin behind its head and the fin doesnt flare up that much...
maybe its a occelaris/percula mix?

IMO the expanded black areas are an indicator that it is a True Perc. However its not a 100% way to guarantee that it is, the only real way that I have read is to count the spines on its dorsal. 10 or 11, one is ocellaris the other is perc, but I dont remember which is which. And then there is the perc ocellaris hybrid theory, IMO completly possible. Cool looking fish though.

The actual indicator is the number of spines in the dorsal fin... good luck with this one. An ocellaris has 11 spines while a true perc has 10.

But to save you from the torture, yours is a true perc as others have said.
