trying to catch a crab!!

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a Sally Light Foot crab out with out taking rock and corals out? My LFS has some great looking baby maximas for 20 bills. My PH is 8.3 and my calcium is just right. The only thing stopping me is my violent crab. I've made the mistake of putting a baby
max in the tank with him before, the crab got him! I've already tried the mayonaise jar, didn't work. In fact, the only thing I caught with the glass jar trick was my blue devil, but I'm not trying to get rid of him......Not Yet anyway. At least I know how to get him out if I want to.
Any suggestions would be great help.

try holding a clear plastic bag in the water, away from where he is, with his fav food in it, towards the back. keep the bag very still, and his aggressive nature may just win over his fear.
