Trying to ID a coral

Any one have any idea what this is called? common name and scientific name. I have been looking and can not find any info on it. My LFS called it green tipped giant polyp. They're tan with green tips that glow under my lunar lights
I bought a rock with about 6 polyps on it. and the other day I noticed that some of the polyps have moved around the rock, and one is on a completely different rock. Is this normal behavior?

I don't know for sure, but it would seem like if they moved off the rock that fast, they're not a coral, rather some type of anemone???

so its either a good coral? or a bad coral? It looks like a torch coral, but i googled majano coral and it looks like that also? I'm very confused

they are not a torch coral torches have a hard skeleton and DO NOT move.
manjanoe anemones are a close relative to the apistia anemone and can reaqk havok in a tank and this honestly looks like what you have. The will spread and in some cases start stinging other corals in the vasinity of them.
some people leave them and others kalk and kill them immediately when they pop up.
but they are deffinately not torch corals.
what did you pay for them?

as stated already, torch coral has skeleton just like frogspawn and does not move. sorry to say but those are majano anemones

i paid 50 for therock with 6 on them. the only other invert i hae asides for shrimp and hermits are some mushroom corals. Do you think these will bother them? I have no plans of putting any other coral in there?
