will a maroon clown host a tube anemone or does this rarely happen? i am starting to look for a new anemone, and i like how the tube anemones look, especially the bright colored ones

my guess would be there too thin and whispy, not a very good hiding spot, but could be the sting too

would it harm anything? like powerful enough to kill, or just warn and keep fish away, i dont wanna put a death trap in my tank you know?
as long as it just gives them a sting and sends them on there way, thats ok, just as long as its not super aggressive

I have had a pink tube anemone for two years now. So far it has eaten a lawnmower blenny, and killed my copperband butterfly fish when it swam too close.
All my other fish know to stay away from it. I also noticed one of my cleaner shrimp getting an antenna stuck and stung a few times. He has so far got loose and escaped. They never seem to lean so I am a little worried about them.

Well, count tht puppy off of my list!! I love my LB and do not want him eaten....
No kidding. Now this fish eating beauty is so locked down into the rock he is a permanent addition. So I won't buy anymore fish until it dies, or detaches so I can place it in a more preferable home.
I learned allot from this. Mostly..be sure you really want the creature before you buy. It has however chosen the very center of the tank. It looks placed it is so perfect.
You must admit, it is beautiful, and in the dark, has its own weird glow too.
