OK, so I got so new Lr yesterday at my LFS and I have found some of these little critters in my tank. Should I be looking for the bad ones? I also found pinhead sized bright pink snails, are they bad? Also a tube like thing that streches out. It looks like a co
eb, is it bad?

the tube could be a peanut worm or a bristtle worm. If it is hairless it is probably a peanut worm. Did you check the hitchhiker ID? As for the snail, I have no idea....

Does it look like a tiny featherduster? I believe that's a good critter. I hope so because I have a ton of them.

my camera seems not to be working right. It looks like the tube of a tiny feather duster but it extends out about 2 to 3 inches and then looks like a cob web floating.

Do a search for Vermetid snails ... they put out a web to catch food.

Sounds like it to me also. Is the tube a redish brown color?
