Tube Looking Things on Glass

I tried to read thru past posts regarding Aptasia, but I don't think that's what I have. First of all, the only pictures I found were of mature Aptasia (brown on the top with big tentacles). Mine look like tubes...solid white...with possible tentacles.
What could it be? Am I ignoring the fact that this is probably Aptasia? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

do they have a spiral shape to them...if so they are harmless filter feeders; soemtimes regarded as nuisances that abscure the viewing area of the glass easily removed w/ an old credit card if desired...
