tube worms??

i have these little tubes growing all over and you can see little antena stiking out and they also let out a slim thread that sways all over in the current. what are they and how do you get ride of them????HELP.

Vermetid snails. Besides the annoying web which they use for filter feeding, they're harmless.

is there any way of getting rid of them they are spreading all over and make the tank look like crap.

You can either snap them off or epoxy over them. (Aquarium safe Epoxy)

i've been breaking them off but i think it helps them spread not sure. the fish will not eat them when they fall out.

That won't spread them, but you can always try the epoxy method.

I have heard a case of them becoming so abundant that their thread annoyed some corals and caused problems that way.
