Tubes with threads - Help to ID

Whenever I change the water and there's a strong movement of it, I noticed that strings of sort are coming out from tubes attached to the dead elkhorn corals and on LR? Are these mini corals or somethings are living inside of these mini tubes..?

If they're coming out of a tube, it's a worm.

The stuff that are coming out of them are like strands of silk..they're all over the LR and dead elkhorn coral

Worms...... In the reef world worms don't always look like what we picture in our minds. There's many different species.
They could be featherdusters....can't tell without a pic though. :thinking:

Do a search for vermetid snails.

Here. The grey things. They also sometimes just look like a small point. I have one growing on a hermit's coralline encrusted shell. They make lines of mucus. Vermetid snails.
