opened my cabinet up this morning and my skimmer is not making enuff bubbles to make it to the cup . i turned the knob all the way open and still nothing is there anything to pull out and clean ? i dont have any info on it as it came with the tank used
took apart and cleaned wasnt really very dirty and still nothing

Tunze skimmer I assume? I have one, worst 300 and some odd bucks I ever spent. Try cleaning out the pump to make sure it's getting the proper flow.

yea i was there already and did clean out the little bit that there was .
looking at it while it was apart i have decided to go to a different brand but am limited by my sump area 6x12
i would like msx skimmer but they are all too big but mso has a large HOB skimmer just not sure

Tunze products have a great design but for some reason they use some crap materials.
AquaC Urchin is a possibility, ATI has a bubblemaster 160 I think with the pump in the lower chamber that is also a small foot print.
