Does anybody know if you can run this without a controller? does it have a standard 110 volt plug or do you need to have a controller to operate this ?if anyone has one of these please let me know what you think. What size do you think I need for a 75 gallon reef ready tank? I was going to mjmods to get the maxi jet 1200 but this I don’t have to put together. :help:

I just pre-ordered two of the 6055's. I ordered them from an online dealer, and I spoke to the owner and he told me that they can be run without a controller. And from what he told me two 6045 would be fine for my 92 gallon, but I decided to upgrade to the controllable ones.
