So the new Tunze auto topoff is working flawlessly,now I am thinking down the road of the precision marine kalk reactor and running the topoff through that,only thing I don't get is the price is twice as much as a good calcium reactor,so,decisions decisions and at this point maybe I will stick with two part if needed until the needs become more clear

I'd employ a separate system to drip my kalk.....My reasoning or rationale is that if for whatever reason the system would fail you run a very good chance of dumping tons of kalk into the system just as if your ATO would fail, why would you want it plumbed directly to your RO/DI unit.....At least if you have a small top off system your loss or headaches would be minimal instead of compounded with multiple problems.....

Ok,I understand. Is it necessary to drip kalk if you use two part ? Also if you use two part and calcium is ok but alk. is low,is it ok to use just one part,that being the buffer?

Personally I've never used the 2 part buffer kits.....But my thinking would be with the 2 part you would adjust each proponent to your exact needs......Possibly someone here or even better some place like BRS could give you a better take on that answer.....

BRS 2 Part Dosers are ideal for automating 2 Part dosing. Our peristaltic pump has an extremely accurate 1.1mL per minute flow rate. Silent operation. The pump utilizes a unique system that attaches the drive shaft at the bottom and top to eliminate shaft wobble. Precision two roller design extends pump life and will not back siphon.
