One of my turbos just died for seemingly no reason. I've had it for about a year. Anyone know the typical lifespan?

Bang Guy said in another thread that they typically live 10-12 years and they are usually about 3-4 years old when you get them.

I can't seem to keep a turbo more than a couple of months...I think my hermits attack and eat them

It isn't just the water or predators, it is also the amount of algae available for them. If you have too many snails and not enough food source they will starve to death.

pretty good. I have seen my turbos graze there way out of a thick patch onto bare glass that I just razored and keep going accross the bare glass instead of turning around. they are not very smart.
