Turboflotor 1000 Multi Skimmer Question

Newbie to the site. Being offered a Turboflotor 1000Multi skimmer at 1/2 price new in box. The skimmer is rated for 125-250 gal tanks. is this overkill for a 55 gal tank having 9 fish and a few corals?

No, Id go for it, youll notice a BIG difference. I would check around the online sites to see if their "1/2 price" is actually more than you can get one online for. Also, if you dont have a sump, the hang on model does require ALOT of space behind the tank and moving a 55g would be a big pain to make enough room if not already present.
