turning salt tank into brackish water

now should i start all over with brand new water and clean the tank out? or would it be okay if i lowered the salt level? all my coraline would die would the salt decrease,so maybe i should just clean the whole tank up?

If it were me, I think I'd try to lower the salinity rather than start all over.
