i have a 29 gallon tank that has benn running pritty well for about 9 months.
i have about 20 pounds of live rock and a pencil lengh snowflake moray, a damsel fish, and a half dozen hermit crabs. i was wondering if i could add another snowflake in and stop at that?

I think in a 29 it would be to crowded to have more than 1 SFE. You could add another small fish of some sort, if the damsel isn't to aggressive, and doesn't kill it.

I agree with Stacy, a 29 is just to small for a second SFE.
