I have a dwarf lion fish, still a juvenile. The lfs near me got a lion (same kind) fish by accident..lol...and they will sell it to me for 15 bucks cuz all of the employees think it will kill them....well, maybe not 'kill', but they are terrified of it...lol. It's a bit bigger than the one I have now....I am wondering if I can put them together? OR........will there be a war?

As long as they are not that different in size they should be fine. I have had more then one together before, in the same aquariums. go for it
ps as long as your aquarium is over 50 gallons

Should not be a problem at all. I have a big volitan with a fuzzy dwarf and the volitan actually protects the dwarf from any possible threats. The dwarf constantly sits next to or behind the volitan just to feel at ease because he is still so small.

only problem i see is if the new one is not trained on frozen food, it will take some skill to train a new lion using live food with an established lion alreayd in the tank

I agree with Jon. It took me a few weeks to wean the new lion to frozen, but I just fed the established lion ghost shrimp too. I have a 150 with 2 V. lions. (Lola and Wayne). Lola is about 8 inches, while Wayne is half the size. They get along great and I'm actually considering adding a third to complete the tank. Some think it's boring, but I'm amazed every time I see one of the lions just gliding across the tank, especially when they're coming right at me.
