I just was fooling around with Macro and I wanted to see how close I could get a picture of an A. Valida. Here's just how close the Sony Cybershot DscF707 can get.

Wow!!! That is a beautiful one Graham! Is that new?
Thanks, Mark!
I've had that one since Late February/Early March. It's quite a beautiful peice! Fast grower, too. I've fragged it a few times so far. Actually, one of the frags I took turned dark purple with dull green polyps. The green polyps are starting to lighten up as the coral grows. It'll be sweet if it turns purple with electric green polyps. I'll show a picture of it when the lighting comes on.
Adrian, Nerdy, Beth, Killafins,
Thanks for the great comments!
Take Care everyone,
Graham

If you're serious, email me with your address and where you want me to ship a frag to. I'll gladly do it. You just pay for shipping, or, any tips that you would like to give me

By the way- Here's the A. Valida frag with the green polyps. This frag is at the bottom of the tank in extremely strong currents. The polyps are starting to get more and more intense green!
Beautiful pics Graham....outstanding photo work of a truely beautiful coral.......
Once again I am impressed with the progression of your system.....congradulations!!!
Thanks a lot, NM Reef!
I saw your thread, too! You have a very nice tank! You have barely any more space to put corals on! Looks like you need to upgrade to something larger than 150 gallons
Take Care,
Graham

I'm currently running 2x 400wt 20,000k Radiums on PFO HQI ballast.
mmmmsushi,
I don't know of a site that compares cameras. You may be able to get a site that lists all the details, though. If you want the details of each camera, go to www.cameratopia.com. It lists almost all digital cameras on the market (mostly the newer models). Whatever you do, do not order from them. I've had personal experiences with them and They will take your money and run. But, their site is good for information.
xxchris060,
You got mail.
Thanks again for the great comments!!

How about a full tank shot? Those pics are great!
Here's my most recent tank shot, taken after the "White plague." I lost quite a few corals (2x A. Formosa, A. Gemmifera, 2x A. Millepora) which slowely receded from the base up. Fortunatly, I do have some frags of the corals going around in other tanks.
