Last weekend I had some right by my chopping block in a tree and I think I was so close they just bounced off me before they could sting. This weekend was a hole in the ground and my weed-wacker, got nailed a couple of times. Good in a way to find them because they can be such a pain during summer when you are eating or cooking outside and both nests are gone now. One of the few times I use pesticides at all. Interestingly I think the problem this year is because for the first time since we have lived here we don't have a nest of bald-faced wasps nearby and they eat yellowjackets all day long. Anybody else been stung this year?
