Two white spots on perc. clown

I just got two perc. clowns last weekend. When I got them home I realized that one had a single white spot on the side of it's dorsal fin. But now he has the identical "spot" on the other side . It is similar to an oversized pice of salt. No irritation, not red, he's eating good (now, they were picky at first) and seems happier than ever. I'm trying to drop the salinity right now, but the temperature has been hard to control the last couple days.(It has been over 35 C here)
so my tank seems to stay around 80 F, unfortunately.
I'm new to salt tanks so I don't know what this is. PLEASE help.
This doesn't really resemble freshwater-ich. But it's not a "tab" hanging from him,(fluke)I gave them both a fresh water dip when I got them and now he's caught on to the hiding spaces in there home (150gal) and I can't get him out. PLEASE...any suggestions.??? Thanks in advance.

IT sounds like ick to me that has come out due to stress in the new tank. Give hime time it will go away.

Correct me if I am wrong, but ick (ich) does not just go away. It needs to be treated or else the whole tank will get infected. I am battling it now.
Also I have that kick ick (ich) is it really safe for the inverts and the LR? not using it but have it, I took mine out to the QT and am treating with copper and lowering the salinity in the main tank.

I have had a yellow tang and a dwarf angel go through this and I have to assume they had a slight case of ich from stress. Anyway, I add garlic extract to the food let soak for at least 30 minutes and fed it to help with immune system. I also watched them very closely to see if they were going to have a bad outbreak. Both times my fish were ok witin a couple weeks. MY EXPERIENCE ONLY. At this point you might try that and give it a few days to see whether it gets better or worse. If you have inverts or lr/ls I would not use the medicine. You might post this in the disease forum for help with how to do hyposalinity in a hospital tank. Good luck!

DO NOT USE GREENEX....my LFS said it was reef safe and they had used it for years...it is not reef safe at all, I had several fatalities. I am very reluctant to add things to my tank now. I use garlic once a week for prevention. Have 3 yellow tangs and no ick yet (knock on wood), have had them 4 months now. The garlic seems to work well for me. I also have a cleaner shrimp ... really neat to see the tangs stop by his cleaner station and let him pick whatever off from them. Just another little thing to observe in the hours I spend just watching my tanks. HTH

Most likely a single parasite, fluke, as you guessed. Do you have a hospital tank?

Nice of Beth to move you to the disease forum. How are the fish? Getting better or worse and what course of action did you take? just curious.
