Type of coral question

Hello,
I'm planning on getting 390 Watts of Power Compact lighting and wanted to know what types of coral and inverts I can have.
My tank size is a standard 55 Gallon setup.
I've been told not to use the watts per gallon but I'm at about 7 wpg.
I'd really like to know what I can hold.
Thank you and I appreciate you help.

all softies and LPS. I'd stay away from SPS and clams as they really need MH to thrive. You might hear stories of certain SPS and clams being kept under VHO or PC but for novice tank keepers I say stick with LPS (frogspawn, hammer, brains, etc) and soft corals (mushrooms, zo's, xenia, leather, etc). You can fill a 55 up with enough of those. I'd also recommend staying away from anenomes...they can be kept but most dont survive more than a few months.
You can keep other inverts that are reef safe in your tank...snails, hermits, shrimp; but just make sure they are reef safe and compatible with each other.
HTH,
Mark

i think you would be able to get ceryain types of anemones because i had a LTA in my 90 with only 260w pc. IMO i would say get what ever you really want because all coral should work with that light... even though its not MH its still alot of light

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it.
That's actually a lot more that what I thought I could keep.
Shucks, I really wanted a bubble tip anenome too.

How long have you had it under those conditions? PC is worth more lumens/watt than VHO, but not that much more.
