I am building my first tank!I have a supplier because I have a business ofcomm. millwork which requires me to supply glass sometimes.My question is what type and brand is the best silicone to get .My tank is right at 140 gal.and will be in wall.I plan on using bar clamps with the rubberpads.I am thinking i will probably use 1/2 " glass and put a verythick bead of siliconeon the edges and clamp it just firm so want push all the silicone out of the seam and the excess that will come out mold it into theinside corner so I will have a nice bead there as well.This tank is 24dx42wx34tall so I dont think it will try to bow in the middle none.Does anyone think I need to have someangle iron added aroundthe bottom or just the silicone will be sufficient?Any comments questions or concerns will be greatly appreciated!!!!
