What is the difference in reef crystal salt and instant ocean salt they are botn made by the same company

i think the only difference b/w them is the reef crystals has more elements added for a reef (calcium, vitamans, elements) both are good salts

I agree with carlas, the crystals have more trace elements but is a lil more expensive. I suggest that if you have a reef tank go crystals, if you have a just fish tank, go instant ocean.

The only difference that I have seen is that Reef Crystals costs more. If you are doing regular water changes (at least monthly) Instant Ocean will work. I only buy Reef Crystals when it is on sale.
