just received my RO/DI unit from Walt, courteous of Santa. I got it all set up and am currently running through the setup cycle. I was planning on setting up the unit under my tank stand to do auto top off directly into the sump. Problem: I didn't realize that there was so much waste water in processing tap water. Can I run a waste line up into the ceiling/attic and run a dump line out to the flower beds. Should work due to the system working on @ 60 psi of street pressure, right? Any other pit falls I have over looked. Also, the float valve has a metal screw and pin, how do I keep it from corroding in the saltwater??????

it may work, how many vertical feet would it be running, personally I'd ask Walter

it would run @ 10-12 ft. TZhen out another 10 to the beds. I'll probabely give em a call.

I've found that the waste water doesn't come out with much pressure behind it. It is almost the same pressure as the filtered water. You would probaly have to utilize the force of gravity to get the water to continue to run the length of your Flower beds...
