Typhoon is here

Just showed up. :D It's a good day.
Quick question, the instruction say not to exceed 75 pound of pressure and pressure under 50 pounds could cause pour performance. It does not say what pressure is optimal. Those of you with a typhoon, where do you keep your pressure at?

 Kipass4130 curious how you set pressure and how you measure it ??? Could you explain please.

alsie, you will need a pressure gauge. A hardware store should carry them. You could tee the pressure gauge into your water inlet.

My pressure is at 57 lbs which just happens to be the max pressure of my waterline on my sink. If you use the self tapping component to tap into your waterline, it will make the hole bigger the deeper you tap until you reach the max size. If you go a few turn and back off, you can see the pressure (You need an inline pressure guage as included on the Typhoon III). Just keep adding a 1/4 turn and backing off until you either get the pressure you want or the hole is the maximum size and you have the highest pressure available.

alsie, Be careful, I put a water hose tee fitting on the washing machine's cold line and the pressure could easily pass the 75psi mark. I'm not sure what your unit is rated for or if our house pressure could exceed it but if so it could hurt the membranes.

Well another thing is learned by the old guy. I will go back to where I got typhoon and get pressure guage. I have fairly low pressure but have no idea of how much. Was one of my complaints when I bought my house 20+ years ago. Just maybe and I mean maybe I can get this down pat before I wear depends and drool.
