ugggg, well I guess its time

for a tank overhaul. I just discovered my bulkheads are leaking, and water isnt flowing fast enough to my sump/fuge before its pumped back into tank. I have the it wide open and the water isnt flowing fast enough to keep up with the pump and keeps sucking air. I guess I am going to have to tear it down completely and replace the bulkheads. They are the clear blue ones. Why would the start leaking after almost 2 yrs. I wanted to replace the sump with a shorter one, but this isnt how I invisioned my weekend. I will have to store everything in tubs i guess, and save as much water as I can. this just stinks.

That's too bad, Teresa. Sometimes we need a kick in the pants to get something done though, so try to look at the positive that you can do what you want with your sump now. Hopefully it won't be as much of a pain in the behind as you think. Good luck!
