i have a 36 bowfront and its proving to be a bad tank. it has that stupid support beam going from the back to the front on the top of it so it prevents me from getting some equipment. and its like impossible to find a stand for the stupid thing that isnt wayyyy overpriced. i want a sump but i cant find a stand for it that dosent set me back $200. i mean a 46 bow stand is $100 and a stand for a smaller tank is more expensive. could i just put the tank on the 46 stand? or put it on a normal rectangular tank stand? i ask cause there may be support issues. any ideas on if this is ok? thanks

Is the shape different? I wouldn't think so, just a bit smaller. I have a 46 bow. DO NOT GET RID OF THAT BRACE!!! You need that there. The 46 bow stand would be fine, just a little larger. Don't put it on a rectangular stand.
The 46 bow stand has plenty of room for a sump in the door. It is also pretty open in the back so there should be no issues with plumbing space.
