Well I was feeding him and he went above the water line and got some air stuck in his lower back region.
I tried to "burp" him by capturing him underwater and holding his tail so he would expel the air. Some bubbles came out but not enough.
He still has a lump of air there. Will he expel that on his own? Or do I have to keep tryin to catch him, bc everytime I get him , he puffs up :notsure: :help:

you could try it again. but i wouldnt do it more than once more. Ive also heard of holding them upright and rubbing the bubble out. So get him in the ned and hold him head up and push in on the bubble and keep doing that until the bubble comes out of his mouth.
you shou.d search for puffer burping thoug. i think ive seen threads here that talk about exactly how to burp a puffer

all my puffers have always done well burping themselves, he will prob get it out on his own. You really shouldnt net a puffer, i just grab mine with my hand but I do have a good thick set of rubber gloves.
