uh-ho.....bacterial infection...

well after looking at the diease sticky.....i do believe my yellow tang...has a bacterial infection...it has red splotches on its rear end of body...
what do i do to treat it?? can the other fish catch it?? i added 25 snails and a cleaner shrimp today...can they be harmed?? and how did it get this infection??:help:

I can't answer all of your questions, but you may want to look into getting Maracyn-Two to treat your tang. Make sure you administer it in a QT and double the recommended dose on the box (i.e. four tablets the first day and two for the remaining days. It is recommended to continue the treatment for 7-10 days).
