He was there yesterday...:notsure:
Hanging over in his corner...and today I can't find him anywhere...
He's been in that corner soakin' in the "sun" (MH) for 3-4 months...Two days ago he moved 1' forward and then back yesterday...
I fed him, he seemed happy (full, color, extended, etc...)
This morning I go to check the sump and my skimmer is "bubbling" over...and the chamber the overflow dumps into is "bubbling" full of foam...
I had to run to work so I hooked up a canister with a Lb of carbon and did a quick 10 gal WC...
Didn't have time to "test" anything yet today ...But I ran a full series this weekend and Calcium 450 alk 4.0 pH8.2 82 deg 0,0,0 etc...
Stopped by for lunch and the skimmer and sump have settled down, and thelights are on and I can't find him (or "parts" )anywhere...Tucked in the rock, Under the rock, down in the sump...anywhere...:notsure:
All other corals out and about, FPE, looking good...Fish look happy...
Gotta run now, but will test and post Ammonia, trIte and trAte later.
Probably do another 20 WC but water will only be 8 hrs old...
Maybe test first, look some more, check the posts and then WC if "needed"...
:notsure:

i'd look really good in the filters and under rocks in those littel caves. and if your ammonia is 0 then you don't need a WC

OK ...I found him...
And he does NOT look Happy...:nope:
Was on the back wall "inside" the overflow...must have squeezed through the egg crate screen...
Was hanging on tight with his "guts" hanging out...
Got him back up front, turned off the "high flow" for now...
We'll see in an hour or two if he looks like he's recovering and re-inflating..
This was taken just after I took him out and placed him on a rock near a xenia...

well man i'm sorry but i'm glad i helped find him, it could have hurt your tank if it had died. It might come back out, it might not but at least you found it. Let me know how it is.

Anybody have one "recover" after "puking" like this...?
Should I put him in the fuge (low flow) or leave him in the Main (high flow)...? More light...Less light...?
I don't think he's dead yet, just really sick from being "buffeted" by 1200 gph for most of the day...

I think he's doing better,,,
Starting to fill up and wrap back around his "guts"
A couple tentecls look like they're filling as well...
Left him in main and turned the closed loop back on...wanted to keep the corals happy too...
Will post another pic later...

Yep, I'm thinking that's where the "foam" came from in the sump and skimmer...his partially digested "meal"...

Not too good...His foot is attached to a rock (to the left) and is starting to fill in...
Still has good "brownish" coloration rather than "white" or "dead"
I can't see the red tenticles I saw yesterday, and there is a bit of "gut like" stuff on the bottom...
