Uhh Ohh i hope this isn't ick

I got a kole tang and flame angel on tuesday. I put them in my 10g q-tine but the kole was very mean so i had to put the flame angel in my big tank. He is eating and swimming constantly. It looks like he scraped his face on the rock. Below is left eye and above his right.

He has like 4 or 5 tiny white spots on each side. You can barely see them. I haven't noticed him scraping on anything but he is swimming through the rocks alot so i might not see it.

Lesson here is to not every buy 2 fish at once unless you have 2 QTs.
What other fish are in the display? That definately looks like a parasite. Does your display have LR, inverts?

I took him out and put him in my qt with the tang and they aren't fighting luckily. The other fish in the display are 2 percs, 1 royal gramma and 1 firefish. I have 10 hermits and 6 snails. What kind of things should i be looking for. He isn't breathing hard or scratching on anything. I don't see anymore white spots.

I would recomment hyposalinity on the fish in the QT. The procedure is outlined in the FAQ Thread.
