My clowns are about an hour new, maybey more.
They are from this site. Very active and healthy so far. :happyfish They are my first marine fish, but they seem to be trying to swim through the side of the tank.
they are swimming against it and trying to get out. Is this normal? :notsure:
They seemed to have paired up already. I read in another thread that when the smaller fish(presumably the male) zooms infront of the larger, and starts to twitch(sort of) that they have selected a mate. Also the "male" has been following the larger one around for about two hours or more. Can anyone verify this? :notsure:

It is common, when the lights go out they will settle a bit and by tomorrow they should be fine. Expect them to be a little shy for a few days until they get used to you.

Cool thanks they actually are not very shy, well, at least when im here at the computer, 6 feet away. I made them a pvc "home" i wedged it under the intake of my filter, because the pvc i bought floats.

my ocellaris clown would swim into the aquarium glass too for about a week.I later found out have had been plucked out of the ocean 2 weeks before so I jsut assumed he was getting use to aquarium life. He is doing great. I have had him about 6 weeks now and he swims the length of the tank and turns around and swims back now . GIve it time.
