i showed this to my kids this morning this is an uncontacted tribe i never knew there were any of those left, they are , i guess 'painted' different colors some are bright red and at least one is a blackish tint we are wondering if that is because of status? the arcticle also says that worldwide there are over a hundred uncontacted tribes worldwide. i just thought it was interesting and wanted to share

i saw this- this morning.
question. if they are uncontacted, how do we know they exist?
or, are they counting "viewing them" as not contacting them?

i think they only know about them because they have flown over and taken pictures... i saw one picture where the natives look like they're shooting arrows at the plane/helicopter.

I saw this story on Good Morning America this morning. They say the people only dressed in the war paint when the plane passed over the 2nd time. The first time, the were not in paint. They also said there could be many more tribes out there and as deforestation continues, the modern world is encraoching on their habitat.

i'm on the next flight down there with a bag of shiny beads and a shotgun. also, several packs of Paradise Punch Bubblicious, and maybe some Camel smokes.
i'll be running the place in less than a week.

Bring a case of booze along with you and you'll be their new Emperor!

I am a member of this particular tribe. we are not "uncontacted", as I have been on this website for over 4 years now and have had numerous contacts with you people. My uncle Ray is the one on the right with the bow. to answer one of the above posters, no, we don't have reef tanks. we do however have fish only with live rock tanks and we particularly enjoy cichlid tanks.
now, don't try to have any face to face contact with us and leave us alone.
ps. tell your aeroplane pilots to stop throwing Coke bottles at us. it was funny the first dozen times, but it's not funny anymore.
pps. no, we won't do jobs that Americans won't do, so tell John McCain to stop emailing us.
