Uncontrollable Green Hair Algae

This stuff grows and grows.. I have a 60 gallon fish only with live rock live sand setup,
Protein skimmer and 2 MJ 900's for circulation.
This Green algae grows thick and long on the rocks. Also make the glass green.
What is the cause and best way to rid my tank from the growing green monster...

I know someone that put one in a 125 gal that looked like shag carpet of hair algae. This thing was incredible, within 2 weeks the algae was gone and not a trace could be found. The Local fish store had one and let him take it to clean the tank and then he returned it to a tank he had waiting for it. I guess you would call that a rental.

What kinda water are you using?

Ive seen those sea hare things. From what I hear, they work better than anything else by far. They aren't the most attractive things though. I think they kinda look like shrek. haha but thats just me.

I am using Ro water for Topoffs and to be honest i dont do many water changes not do i change my light bulbs...
