Uncured Live Rock?

I will be setting up a new tank. I found a pretty good deal on uncured live rock. They warned me that uncured can have harmful bacteria, but since it has been in their tank successfully I would be okay. Does this sound correct?

No... not really.
Mudplayerx has a great post on curing live rock (use the search feature). It will explain a lot to you. That should get you started.
