I am thinking about making one of these my next fish. Who keeps these? Do you have a male or female? Let's see some pics!

Had one years ago in a tank by itself. It is worth it
. Great personality and striking colors.

I have 1, i think its a female heres some pics. If you were to get one You might would have to put it in a tank by itsself, because mine will kill anything I put with her, so she is by her self.

That is a sweet looking female. I can tell the undy is a female by the lines on her face. Now I hear the ones from the red sea are more colorful (ie. orange tail). Is this true?

I had one of these with a niger, picasso, niger and wolf eel in a 125. He would snatch all the food and hide it in his spot. He would overtake the eels cave anytime he wanted. He would snip at the fins on eels tail. He stressed the niger to death, the picasso stayed out of the way.
Overall, he was more stress for the fish than he was worth. He looked great but he's all u ever saw because everyone was hiding from him.

What happens if you add a queen and an undulated trigger in the same tank? I would think both could take care of themselves.

for sure i havent found 1 yetlookin but not really .people say that 2 undys cant be together either.but wrong again.people act like these fish grow at a super fast rate....mabey 2" to 4 inches a year.i got the v tail grouper pass on the pink tail trigger waitin for the queen.my new dog faced puffer lost 1 of his front teeth 2 day looks funnyso that will put the total to 18
still waitin on a "melt down"witch wont happen because my triggers play nice

Folks, please don't carry old arguments into new threads.
When a new poster asks a question, respond with your best educated opinion. When your opinion agrees with half a dozen other well written and reasonable opinions, versus a wildcard, your point is made.
Let's avoid the drama.

Krazykarel, your picture is taken by a well known and respected author in our hobby. I think you'll find his opinion coinscides with those that urge caution in trying to keep multiple triggers or triggers with other tankmates.
