Unhappy LTA with Pics

I have had him for two weeks now. The first week was a very happy week, hosting my perc, and know for the last few days it looks like he is giving up.
Look closely at the pic. Do you see anything wrong with his foot? Do you see the red spider webs he is leaving behind? Help me out.
Tank is established with great parameters, skimmer, bio, and mechanical filtration.
I hope these pics show up

was he red when you bought him? maybe you couod try moving him more on the rock and more in the light, because my anenome hates the sand

Yes he was red when I bought him.
He does not seem to hold well when i place him on the rock. I will try again.

i was just asking about the red because he is really cool, yeah i would try to move him again, then let him move around till he finds a spot he likes. he may just be stressed

Don't move him to the rocks. LTA's like a sand substrate.
What is your ph value? If you don't know then have the LFS test for it.
What is your lighting?
How about other paramiters including alkalinity, calcium and temp?

ph is 8.3-8.4
I dont have calcium test
temp is 78. lfs suggested lower that to 76 but that seems to contradict others so i have not
all the levels are good that i can test
can you put to much calcium in or have to little?
I have been putting in reef complete calcium to make LR look better but i dont have any coral yet.
could that be to much calcium?
thanks

Hmmm. If you have been adding calcium then your alkalinity may be to low, but the ph sounds fine?
Take a sample down to lfs and have them test for everything.
Raise temp to 80. 76 might be good for an atlantic anemone but not a LTA.
Whats your salinity?

Also you didn't answer Thomas' question about lighting. What kind and how many Watts each?

Sometimes I put a flashlight on top pointing down into the water, but usually it gets its light from the reading lamp in the corner I use to light the room.
Lighting
Coralstar actinc YDW36-H and daylight YDW36-HRR
I bought from lfs planning on having LTA and coral

Thanks Thomas
My salinity is 1.023. I going to take sample to lfs and I am raising temp to 80.
Will this bother my fish?

What is this? VHO, NO or PC? How many watts? LTAs tend to prefer MH though some people do have long term success keeping them happy under VHOs.
I would also (slowly) raise the salinity to 1.025.

I would gradually raise the salinity to the 1.025 mark. 1.023 is slightly on the lower end for anemones. Does that lighting equate to 36W actinic + 36 W daylight? If yes, you might not have enough light for the LTA.
72 W/20 G ~ 3.5 W/G
If its more than that then ignore my lighting comment above.
BTW, Is your flashlight the actinic or daylight lamp?.....:D
Also you might want to recheck that salinity after raising the temperature. It MIGHT drop marginally with increase in temperature.
