Hi all, We are thinking about getting a unicorn tang and would like to know if anyone has any experience with them? What do they like to eat, personality, are they hardy/not hardy? Anything and everything you know about these please. They are cool looking fish. Thanks in advance! Later Lisa

I'll help ya out. I do believe all the Unicorn tangs are in the Naso genus. They do obtain a rather large size and the horn can get big. There are 2 unicorns that I know of. One is the Bignose which I've only seen in books and the other has always been expensive when I've seen it, unless a Juv. in purchases. They are a silver grey color and look really neat. As just about all Naso tangs, they are pretty disease resistant and make excellent aquarium fish. You could start it off in your 72g and once it outgrew that you could move it to the 200. TJ

Hey Bluberry:
I know of a site that has some info on it. They are a member of the Naso family, to be exact Naso Brevirostris.
Actually they sell them. It say's they need a 150 gallon, because they can grow to be 24 inches. If you would like the site e-mail me at dd_dulay@yahoo.com
Hope this helps!
