Not sure what this is growing on the back of my 24g aquapod. I have a pepermint anenome, xenia, kenya tree, polyps, shrooms, and unfortunately hair algae growing in this tank. Around 6 weeks ago, I noticed a small, soft, "blob" growing on the back and I thought that it was part of an anenome, polyp or some other coral. It kept growing and growing, now reaching around 6" in diameter.

it looks like algae. kinda like Lobophora sp. but not exactly but i know light and water will affect the shape or encrusting algae and corals
