Yesterday during the day I was cleaning the glass and I noticed a white furry appendage poking out of a hole in my LR. I returned later to see what looked like two appendages about 1/4" in length coming out of a hole feeling around. They suddenly and I mean suddenly retreated. I was told to get a red light to shine on my tank at night to possibly get a glimpse of the mysterious creature. So I did and WOW, I saw it out crawling on the rock last night. Someone thought it might be a brittle star because I told them it was "hairy" well it looks to have six almost identical appendages. Although it has a front end and a back end and seems to walk like a crab. It is so prickly that I cannot seem to make out a body just 6 "arms" like a starfish. I don't think it is a starfish because of how fast it moves. It does not creep along, it picks up its legs and takes steps. If anyone has any idea please tell me. I am dying to know what I have in my tank. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
