Discription:
2L x 1.5H brown with white spots(meddium sized spots)
They swim just like my damsal I have and I need just the comman name and not the scientific name. So if any one out there can help me know what fish i have I will be greatfull. Thanks Jason

Well the first fish that comes to mind with that description is this:

If it is,it's an Harlequin Sweetlips - juvenile. In the ocean they get to be around 28" and in the home they need an aquarium around 200 gallons when mature.
They sort of swim like clowns.
Are very difficult to acclimate to a home tank when they are juveniles - majority will starve to death unless you can get them eating immediately. Must not be kept with agressive tankmates that will snap at the food before they get a chance to feed.
Is this isn't the fish - never mind
:D

To Amphiprion,
Thanks for the photo and thanks for the information you passed on to me about them. Now comes the challenge to do what you asked, but the 200 gallon tank. Thats to far from my reach at the moment. The other question I would like to ask you or any other fellow saltwater tankers is, "what do they eat?" I got Brine shrimp, with vitamin's added.I also have Formula One w/ caulerpa algae and it has vitamin's added as well.
But wow on the size info.
Thanks Amphiprion

Try frozen MYSIS shrimp. My fish love it,and it is better for your fish than brine. It comes in sheets just like brine.

sweetlips will eat just about anything. if you have any inverts in your tank, they will become a meal too. try brine, mysis, maybe some prime reef?, and small meaty foods. bo

I knew that 200g tank size would be intimidating. I honestly don't know how big they will get in captivity. I've only ever seen juveniles. Not too many people I know have that size tank :)
Here's what they look like when mature.

Good luck - did you say you got two

To Mr. Salty, Seafish and Grouperhead,
Thank you for your time in giving me the information you passed on to me.I will put that on my list as well as the agressive fish list.I have only one agressive fish in the tank and my wife just loves the domino. The other fish just swim around and mind thier own business. the only one who looks at the two sweetlips is the royal gramma. But it just looks at them and swims off to the rock it hides in.
:) Like i said to your replys ,Yank you very much..... :) go easy all saltwater tankers
