So recently I purchased a new lionfish to add to my tank and after two days it died. Not sure if it was becasue of my tank or because it was doomed from the beginning or what but I did some tank maintenance and tests anyway. Ammonia, nitrite nitrate and pH levels were fine but I have had a green hair algae problem lately. I decided to scrub it off my LR in attempts to get rid of it and noticed that there are a bunch of little white creatures growing under the rock and in my filter. They are not fan worms or tube worms, the structure that they grow in is soft almost like an anemone but they don't have any tentacles like anemones do. I have no idea if these things are good or bad. If you have anything to say about these creatures or ways to get rid of my green hair algae problem it would be a real help! Ill post a picture of the organisms soon.
