so, how many of yoos got unwanted gifts this year? are they heading to the island of misfit items?
dont get me wrong, i appreciate gifts. but only when they are thoughtful, not oblilgatory. i mean, wtf.... why would you get me something from somewhere that i obviously do not shop at / have no interest in / have been kicked out of and banned from?
dood, if you just going to give an obligatory gift, keep it. a smile and a hand shake is all i am looking for.
anyone else? what did you get from somebody that obviously doesnt care about you.

At my wife's family this year, since there are 17 adults, someone came up with the bright idea of us each spending $10 on a stocking stuffer for each person. I thought this was a bad idea to begin with since for $10 we were all most likely going to end up with junk. I even told my wife that if anyone asked, which brand of cigars I smoke since $10 buys you a fine cigar. Suffice it to say, that I only got one cigar. The rest of the stuff was junk or stuff I'll never use and probably throw out, like a little tub of stuff to keep your hands from chapping...
