update! My 250 hex finally has live rock

best hex tank i have ever seen! that queen angel in your tank is so beautiful. i have a 29 gal hex, obv not as nice as yours, but i had trouble establishing flow, it is alright now. what did you do for flow?

Hey thanks, as far as the flow goes it is a pain to get it right. I just have two outlets on opposite sides bringing water back from my sump. I had to upgrade to a larger pump to add more circulation, although it could be better, I think it's o.k. for now.

I had to take him out, he was just way too aggressive towards the naso. I have him at my parent in-law's in a 125 where he is still harassing my blue hippo and sailfin tang. I'm really considering getting rid of him now
. The sohal is beautiful but the most aggressive fish I have ever had to deal with.

how do u like the whole hex design? ive looked at them before, but im just not real crazy on the way they look, the ones ive seen, with fishin em

Great looking tank and rock work and I really like you fish. You got some of my favorite fish in there. I'm especially jealous of the crosshatch triggers.

Unfortunately they both died from marine velvet. That is such a nasty parasite, I've lost over 15 fish from it
. I will be getting one of each again soon, but I'm going to let the live rock become more established and used to the bio-load before I do.
