Update on my hermit crab stabbed my fish.

Here is a picture of the poor fish. He still seems fine, and I keep giving him the medicine like the directions say to, but the hole does not look any better. Sorry the picture is not that great, but you can still see it.

Good Lord! Poor little guy. I just read your previous post. Apparently I was not in the loop when this first happened.
I would not add any meds to your existing tank. What type of tank do you have anyway? Is it a reef?
Sorry to say, but if the choice is to add med to the display or do without the med and let this fish die, then that is what I would do. The chance of survival with that kind of wound is not good anyway. MarOxy is an anti-fungal medication. This fish needs an antibiotic [look at the eyes].
He needs to be QTed and treated with an antibiotic.

Am I really seeing this, that hole looks big enough to stick your pinky through! Hate to say this to you my friend, but if I were you I'll try to find a humane way to put it to sleep because it's going to die anyway. But that's just my opinion. I certainly hope otherwise.

He was dead this morning when I woke up, I guess the stress of the hole was too much for him.
