Well to provide an update on my tank and show pictures of progress.
Well I started with a 20g high painted rear true blue gloss using krylon
Bought a 10g tank(wallmart) and siliconed baffles and made the middle chamber widest to host the dsb and macro algae
Currently I have just gotten the furniture completed which will house the tank and refugium down below it. I designed it and had my old man construct it. It was made in mind to match my sons furniture in his room and it is PERFECT! I am most please about the fact I have a lip on the bottom and doors on top overlapping the black rim to make the look even cleaner.
I had a shelf made above the tank to adjust between 3-12" for lighting(aqualight 24" 150 hqi and 2x65watt actinics). Plan to have sps corals which is where the lighting comes in.
Next plan of action is to get the tank drilled in the corner and install a 1" bulkhead and make a durso pipe which will be housed in by an internal overflow I am making using blue acrylic. I am heading on a cruise at the end of the month but plan on having this tank up and running by mid September. Then afterwards I work on my 90fowlr. Thanks everyone and enjoy the pictures.
